The business has been pretty tough the last few years. There have been more downs then ups, and the economy has really changed things, at least for me. With any business, at times things must evolve and change in order to stay afloat. Over the past few months, it has been extremely difficult. Where I used to have work monthly, there hasn’t been any for the last three months, and that has hit us hard. I do however feel that there’s still work to be done, so I’m not throwing in the towel just yet. Times have been tough before, it’s just going to take a little more work this time to get things back up to where they once were. With all of the tube sites, which mostly reside outside the country, it hasn’t made things any better. People can illegally watch what we all produce for free, which definitely affects our ability to produce more content. And with DVD’s falling out of the market, that doesn’t help things either. If you enjoy watching fresh new content, do us all a favor, and support us by not going to these websites who steal our material and offer them for free. Doing so not only puts us out of business, but the actors you’re fans of as well. We all work very hard to provide the content, it’s just not right for people to steal it. So help support us, by continuing to purchase our material, don’t steal it, and when you see it on websites for free, report it. We can all make a difference in some way with a little effort. I have not authorized any websites, webmasters, or otherwise to place my scenes in entirety online for free. There may be a few websites that promote the website with trailers, but not scenes in entirety. If you see them, please let me know, I’d greatly appreciate it. I’m taking things back to the old way of doing things, when I first began. With the exception of Twinklight, I’ve always had camera guys on set to assist in filming the scenes. Unfortunately, with things as tight as they are, I simply can’t afford to do that anymore. So I will be filming everything I produce from now on. Being a little older, it’s not as easy to stand on set holding a camera for hours filming, but it will be nice to get back behind the lens. With everything I do in this industry, I try to be innovative. This particular project has been in the making for the last three years. In fact, I consider this my biggest project yet, and I’m putting in everything I can into getting it up and running as soon as possible. This project is the launch of The Afton Nills Network. This won’t be a conglomerate of websites, with updated scenes weekly. I know people enjoy watching scenes that are just about the sex, no storyline, etc. but that isn’t and has never been my forte. I’ve lost site of a lot of things over the years, and I’m glad I’ve had the time to really sit down and evaluate what’s been happening over the past few years. With a clear head, and a goal in mind, I’m focused on what I’m after and I’m excited to share it with you all in the near future. The Afton Nills Network will be the first of it’s kind in this industry. It will consist of mini series/TV shows, much like a cable/TV network. Each show will have stars, along with co-stars, a story line, and of course passionate sex. The network won’t be like a typical website that may update a scene each week, or every other week. Our updates will consist of episodes. One benefit, each episode will consist of 3 to 6 scenes. So each update, won’t consist of just one scene, but much more. Another benefit is, the opportunity to see your favorite actors each week. I enjoy working with the same actors. I feel they all get better the more we work together. Both with their acting and performances. There will be two parts to the network. The mini-series, and the mini-series that go on to being season shows. If the subscribers take to the mini-series, and it does well, then we will continue with the story line each season. All of this will be available to view online at the network. It will work with your TV’s, your computers, your mobile devices, whichever way you choose to view the material. DVD’s will also be available for purchase for those who enjoy that medium. When I entered this industry I wanted to do something different, and this is part of it. I don’t just want to excite you, I want to entertain you. I enjoy doing this through story telling. Not typical cheesy porn scenes that are put together to go onto websites, which I of course have done for many years as a content provider. That works for those sites, it’s not what I’m looking to do for my stuff. What this will be is good story writing, good acting, hot soft-core and hardcore sex, and of course great casts. I feel in this industry, just like in Hollywood, actors obtain fans. And those fans are loyal to those actors. There is no such thing as too much of an actor for a fan. This network will allow these actors a great opportunity to do something artistic, innovative, fun, and something more then just sex. Original fantasies, great stories, episodes that leave you wanting more. With adult material, I feel it’s often difficult to achieve the effect of giving just enough to want more. Nothing is really left to the imagination, as the actors bare it all. There is of course the ability to give just enough of a certain position to leave you wanting more, but for the most part, all is revealed and we often times lose that wanting more aspect. I have a way that I feel will bring that to my scenes, but you’ll have to wait and see for yourself. At this point in time, we are currently in the development stage of the first group of mini series to film. As each one is decided and given the green light, I will update you with that information, cast choices, etc. Each mini series will be filmed to completion before moving to the next so the actors involved are part of the entire mini series. As each series is finished to completion, it will be added to the network for viewing. We will continue to release new mini-series on a continual basis, as well as continuing on with those we feel are successful. Eventually, the Afton Nills Network will be comprised of a great many different shows that we feel will cover a wide spectrum of interests. Your very own adult channel with all of your favorite actors. Getting older and older each year is certainly a bitch, however the technology that’s becoming available for film is simply amazing. I wish I was a teen, or in my early 20′s starting with this technology. I was fortunate enough to make it to the NAB show out in Las Vegas this year. When time and finances permit, I will be bringing a whole new format to my films that will simply astound you. The quality is simply untouchable by anyone filming in this industry, straight or gay. And yes, it will happen. Each stage of this mini series is going to be filmed from pre-production to post. You will get an inside look at the work that goes into something like this, get exclusive behind the scene material and inside looks at the cast. There will also be bonus 3d footage available to watch as well as live webcam feeds with the stars and cast of the shows. I’ve always felt it’s good for the actors to show their true selves with their fans so you can get a real look into the person you fantasize about. Updates will be posted here at the blog as they develop, so stay tuned.
