CUMMING TONIGHT

Yesterday two of my friends and I went to my favorite tattoo parlor on Haight Street in San Francisco to get tattoed. I typically get a new tattoo every time I end or begin a new chapter of my life, and as I am beginning school next week I wanted one that represented that change…don’t worry, Turk XXX Online isn’t going anywhere, I am simply beginning a new chapter of my life going to school to become an Esthetician. So I wanted to commemorate the last 7 years with a tattoo as part of my tattoo road map so-of-speak, as I have with all the other major events in my life. The tattoo is on my right ankle (I have all even tattoos so I already had my left ankle, now I needed my right). It is a dagger with a star at the top (porn star) and a banner around it reading ‘Nakkid Youth’ – since I have spent most of my youth in the adult industry, nude of course lol. My friends got tats too. They are sisters. The older got a cute butterfly with a saying around it in Italian that means ‘To the End Faithful’, and the younger sister got a couple of flowers with her little brothers name under them. In case you were curious, here is my ‘road map’ so far… 1. The symbol for balance on my left shoulder, this was my first tattoo, I got it in high school while everything in my life was still very balanced and well-rounded, before life truly began for me. 2. Next is the symbol for chaos (the chaos star), I got the year after I graduated high school on the right shoulder. This was an incredibly chaotic time for me, working, going to college, moving away from home, beginning in the adult industry, and trying to carve a future path for myself. 3. The tree of life on my back, well by this point I was well on my way in school and in the adult trade, plus I had my first official boyfriend. The tree of life symbolizes life and how we all grow, that is why I got it on my back, the largest part of my body, so that it can grow a lot! 4 & 5. My two wrist tattoos symbolizing Vance and I. We both have the same ones, he is on the left side (symbol for Taurus) and I am on the right (symbol for Scorpio). These tattoos began as necklaces that we wore, I used to wear his sign and he would wear mine – you can see them in many of our earlier films. 6. Under my right arm, Arabic writting that says ‘Live for Me’ – this became a life mantra for me after a tough year that included the breakup of Vance and I, my return to the adult industry, and the creation of this site. I learned a lot of lessons that year, one above all was that you can’t help others until you have first helped yourself. 7. The Kanji script on my left ankle are Chinese Zodiac symbols, Vance as the year of the Ox, Myself as the year of the Rat. This was when the two of us got back together after nearly a year apart living our separate lives. The time we spent apart was necessary, we were so young when we originally got together that we missed a lot of opportunities, opportunities that I feel we needed to have and go through before we could truly commit to one another. 8. ‘Marilyn’ in cursive under my left arm. This tattoo is my grandmothers name, she was very influential in my childhood when others weren’t there for me. She basically raised me and when she passed away in 2004 I was devastated. But she has always stayed with me, especially when times were rough. I got this tattoo late last year, 2009 was a very tough year for me, three of my friends had committed suicide, Vance and I were on again off again, I was not getting much work and often couldn’t support myself, the year in total was bad for most people. Through it all I thought of my grandmother and she helped me get through it. 9. My latest as described above, to commemorate my long and successful adult career and moving forward with that and other venues. Thats it for now, off to work that bar and let my tat heal a bit more

TATTOO YOU

From Ronald N. Tan (the photographer who chose me as a person he wanted to shoot this week – with his camera I mean LOL) in an Interview he did at  Beautifulmag.eu :  “ Being raised and nurtured in an academic milieu, my experiences growing up in Rangoon, Myanmar is a far departure from the majority of my peers. Even in 2010, the current mainstream pop culture in Burma is still fashionably conservative from the Western perspective. Topics of sex in movies are still “taboo,” and kept at a bare minimum or censored by the Burmese Film Board. With “Personal Project,” I want to express my defiance towards my Burmese upbringing by capturing what I find beautiful–the elusive male beauty–in provocative and highly sexualized images of men simultaneously paying attention to present ideals of regalia, class, and good taste. The messages I want to convey is to other artists whom are in a similar situation. If you want to challenge something or produce a body of work you find beautiful, go for it! Create these works with passion and heart. During the “Chasing Dreams,” feature here on BeautifulMag, I disclosed my acceptance of my homosexuality. “Personal Project,” is an extension of that “coming out,” where I express my curiosities and explorations of the beautiful male body with safety confinements. I am still considered “shy.” Male nudity to me is beautiful, but they have to be captured with care. Minute gestures and posing can turn a classy photograph in the opposite direction. In the later chapters of “Personal Project,” I’ll be diligently mindful of that perspective and seek out that fine line and work with the equilibrium of trust established between male models and myself. “Personal Project” is all about my exploration. My hope with this project is to create a visual anthology of my collective experiences of rediscovering my passion and truth about myself. I love men and I find them beautiful and ultimately, I’d want a visual compilation of men in various sexualized compositions to be shared with the creative community with an underlying premise, “The photos are the result when you permit a conservative Burmese photographer, to experiment and explore what he finds most beautiful within safety confinements.” Once the series is complete – a Book will be released titled “Personal Project”. He is a thoughtful guy eh? …and extremely talented As for me this week, I have been working a huge amount of hours temporarily – which means not alot of news to report. Have a great Saturday!!!

ONE AND ONE PLUS ONE

Cinco de Mayo’s history has its roots in the French Occupation of Mexico. The French occupation took shape in the aftermath of the Mexican-American War of 1846-48. On July 17, 1861, President Benito Juarez issued a moratorium in which all foreign debt payments would be suspended for a brief period of two years, with the promise that after this period, payments would resume. The English, Spanish and French refused to allow president Juarez to do this, and instead decided to invade Mexico and get payments by whatever means necessary. The Spanish and English eventually withdrew, but the French refused to leave. Their intention was to create an Empire in Mexico under Napoleon III. Some have argued that the true French occupation was a response to growing American power and to the Monroe Doctrine (America for the Americans). In 1862, the French army began its advance. Under General Ignacio Zaragoza, 5,000 ill-equipped Mestizo and Zapotec Indians defeated the French army in what came to be known as the “Batalla de Puebla” on the fifth of May. In the United States, the “Batalla de Puebla” came to be known as simply “5 de Mayo” (many people wrongly equating it with Mexican Independence which was on September 16, 1810, nearly a fifty year difference). Over, the years Cinco de Mayo has become very populist and many people see this holiday as a time for fun and dance. People of Mexican descent in the United States celebrate this significant day by having parades, mariachi music, folklorico dancing and other types of festive activities. Let the party begin!!!
